As a Senior Leadership member at CertaPro Painters of Atlanta, Damir undertakes the dual roles of Commercial Sales Manager and Commercial Estimator, spearheading the advancement of the Commercial Business division. Prior to assuming his current responsibilities, Damir served as Director of Operations and Production Manager, overseeing both Residential and Commercial Production until 2022. Damir’s educational journey commenced at Marbach am Neckar Schule in Germany, followed by Central Gwinnett High School, culminating in a Business Management major at Georgia Gwinnett College. With a career spanning over a decade, Damir has been an integral part of CertaPro Painters of Atlanta since 2017. Previously, he served as an Estimator for Fulco Plumbing in 2017 and held various roles at HD Supply from 2007 to 2017, specializing in transportation and logistics. Fluency in German, Bosnian, and Serbo-Croatian, along with his previous RRP EPA Renovator certification, enriches Damir’s professional repertoire. Damir is honored to have received prestigious accolades, including the Gold Plus Commercial Sales Award in 2023 and Production Achievement awards for exceeding revenue milestones from 2017-2020. Active memberships in industry associations such as BOMA, CAI, and IFMA underscore Damir’s commitment to professional growth and networking. Continual investment in professional development through certifications, courses, and conference participation ensures Damir stays abreast of industry trends and best practices. Originally from Yugoslavia, Damir’s immigration to the United States in 1997 marked the beginning of a transformative journey. Outside of work, Damir cherishes time with his family—a wonderful wife, a beautiful young daughter, and a teenage son—finding solace and joy in nature, camping escapades, and live music.
