Residential Project in Brookhaven, GA
Located in the popular Ashford Park neighborhood of Brookhaven, GA, this home was completed by crews from CertaPro Painters of Atlanta.The project included a repaint for the full exterior of the home, with limited exclusions. Those items included the brick portions, the home’s foundation, and the porch floor. The home was first pressure-washed and then prepped prior to the applications of premium quality Sherwin Williams coatings, when unforeseen wood rot was uncovered on lattice and fascia. Our carpenters made repairs where needed, and the painting process continued. Two coats of Sherwin Williams SuperDeck, and exterior deck and siding solid colored stain, were applied to the cedar shake shingles. For the remainder of the surfaces, one coating of Sherwin Williams Exterior Duration was then applied. While this was an otherwise straight painting project, unique aspects of the job, including somewhat difficult access issues and unforeseen carpentry repairs, required adjustments from a well-seasoned painting crew.
